The later 70 series nozzles have a round hole with two notches (top and bottom) and yes you can drill these house and adapt to the new nozzles.

Fits Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series models with narrow front end including the HZJ HDJ 79 Series Models. Note the washer nozzle holes are an early triangular style so for later washer nozzle holes you will need to make a modification to the hole.
